Home-made granola deserves a new post! So easy to make & super-healthy… so you can look forward to yummy breakfasts everyday!
- 2 1/2 cups whole rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups mixed nuts, sliced (I used almonds, cashews, & pistachios)
- 1/4 cup mixed seeds (I used pumpkin, sunflower, chia & sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup freshly grated or dessicated coconut
- 1 Tbsp coconut sugar (optional
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup oil (I used coconut & olive oil)
- 1/4 cup sweetener (maple syrup, honey or agave)
- 1/2 cup dried sultanas or cranberries
- Preheat oven to 160°C.
- In a large bowl, mix the oats, nuts and other dry ingredients.
- Combine oil and sweetener separately in a cup.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix thoroughly until its moist.
- Spread out on a large baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven, add the dried fruit and mix.
- Let cool completely and store in airtight container.
